... finding inspiration in Sean Bean.
The sexual tension between Sean Bean and Nigel Terry in
Derek Jarman's Caravaggio is pretty off the charts isn't it?
I used to maintain that I found Bean much sexier now as a weathered tough-guy wielding swords and armor in stuff like Lord of the Rings and A Game of Thrones than I did when he was a pretty young thing, but Caravaggio kinda spoils that thesis. A happy 53rd birthday to Mr. Bean. See a few more pics after the jump.

YUM. It's like going back and seeing Brad in Thelma and Louise. He's much sexier now that he's weathered, but still. Seeing him young and sexy is still something to be appreciated.
The first time I noticed Sean Bean was in Mike Figgis' "Stormy Monday". Not only goes it feature solid performances from both Bean and Melanie Griffith (I know!), it also features plenty of Sean Bean nudity, including some full-frontal of him in a bathtub.
You'll want to tune in tomorrow morning, Jon; at the same time I did this post I prepped up something along those lines fot then... ;)
In some of those shots he looks like a young David Beckham. Probably because of the 90s highlights.
