One of the best flicks of the year, Erick Zonka's Julia, comes out on DVD tomorrow, and I know it didn't get a huge release in theaters so this'll be most of y'all's first opportunity to catch it. Do. Unless the second half of this year starts ramping up quality-wise, this one's definitely destined for a spot in my top five. Like Julia herself, it's a film that worms its way into your life and then won't get the hell out no matter how you might like it to. I think... fondly... indeed, upon this film. Highly fondly. Tilda gives one of her greatest turns and in a career littered with such stuff that's saying a heckuva bunch, it is.
