I was in more of a Pyscho mood last week than I am this week. This week I've moved on to The Birds (since regardless of anything every week I'm in some Hitchcock mood), as you see in the new banner. But I can hardly allow the 50th anniversary of the release of Psycho, which is today, pass not commented upon, can I?

But what can I possibly say? It's a film that changed film - the industry, the psychology; it shred the very structure itself - and it's been written about so extensively in these fifty years what is there left to settle?

Oh wait - the most important dispute of all, that's all!
