My review from the New York Film Festival's screening of Mathieu Amalric's The Blue Room went up at The Film Experience last night; I was looking forward to this movie - here was my post about its trailer - but it didn't quite live up to my expectations. That is to say I mean it didn't quite live up to my broad movie-watching expectations; less broadly it did manage to live up to my "naked Mathieu Amalric" expectations, and then some.
