"Yeah he's ripped and good for him. But I found his body absolutely ridiculous and distracting in that movie. It was supposed to be set in the seventies and about a typical suburban father and instead he's rocking the smooth body of a modern day gay porn star that can only be achieved by spending twenty-three hours a day in the gym. It was so fetishistic and out of place. I'm all for gratuitous male nudity but Ryan in that movie was just bizarre. What next? Another Anne Frank movie but this time she looks like Pamela Anderson in her Baywatch days? Actors really should try to look like they belong in the era in which the movie is set."
--- A random gratuitous giffening of Shirtless Ryan Reynolds in Amityville Horror brought out some opinions on him and the movie from a few people, Luke here included. I totally agree with Luke, but it doesn't make looking at RR out of context any less satisfying..
