You knew that Greta Gerwig's character was supposed to be living the high life in the opening scenes of Lola Versus right away because she had Joel Kinnaman straddling her in bed and handing her breakfast. That's like beyond high life - that's straight up stratospheric.
Joel's turning 34 today; it's a big year for him ahead - he's got the RoboCop remake of course, but there's also the Malick movie he's in (although you never know how big his part will be, or if he'll show up at all even, when it comes to Malick) as well as Child 44, which ahs him reuniting with his Snabba Cash director alongside Tom Hardy, in which they wear sexy military uniforms. Let's hope something sticks!
