... who was on The Wire (still haven't watched it) and in 300 and Centurion with Michael Fassbender, and John Carter, and a million other little roles that coulda woulda shoulda made him somebody anybody knows but didn't quite, has apparently turned down the role of the "King North of the Wall" Mance Rayder in A Game of Thrones. He wasn't familiar with the show and didn't want to spend six months in Iceland away from his family, he says. A shame - this show can never be full up of hot asses. Oh well. The role's still not cast, I don't think. Who would you cast?

Holy stupid career moves, Batman!
Well, if anyone could convince Jeremy Renner to give TV a shot, he'd be great. (It's not TV, Jeremy! It's HBO!)
So would Alexander Skaarsgard.
James Purefoy -- great in another HBO series (Rome), English and has an amazing presence.
Coincidently, Purefoy was also in that disaster (John Carter -- yes, I ignored the reviews and gave it a try).
Forgot to add: he has an amazing ass as well (and you can see everything in Rome's first season).
Why show is it which shows domic west butt
