I think I maybe have titled a post that before but I do not care it's too appropriate for this here news to pass up - Danish actor (and winner of the Best Actor prize at this year's Cannes film festival for his movie The Hunt with Von Trier compatriot director Thomas Vinterberg) Mads Mikkelsen is going to be playing Hannibal Lecter for Hannibal, Bryan Fuller's reboot of the Silence of the Lambs series for NBC. We were just praising Mads last week when we heard he was playing the bad guy in the second Thor movie, and now this! He's a stellar choice; he has a face made for ostentatious cannibalism. He'll be playing opposite Hugh Dancy as Will Graham.
