I suppose there are actors out there who have watched porn to find a way into (heh) their fictional characters. Julianne Moore most certainly did when she played Amber Waves. But the following admission from Andrew Garfield strikes me of a whole 'nother sort of artistic immersion altogether.

"I watched [Spider-ManXXX] a few times. I watched it more from an inspirational stand point than from a sexual standpoint. I think you can find inspiration from anywhere when it comes to this character because it’s everyone’s; it belongs to everyone.”

First off, god I can hear the dork in his voice even in print when he's talking about porn. I love him so. And secondly, bring on the deleted scenes, the behind the scenes video diaries and so forth, I want to see the parts where Andy expresses the inspirationally porny side of Peter Parker, please.
