I wish I'd watched this one in time for Christmas! It would've been perfect to play in the background while opening presents. Nothing quite gooses the holiday spirit like peeking from behind the cardigan you've just unwrapped to spy a swarm of naked Santa ghouls, holly jollies flopping in the Finlandish breeze, that are in hot pursuit of a town's worth of children stuffed into potato sacks. It's basically The Thing meets A Christmas Story. It's a lot of fun, but in a way it all sort of felt like set-up...... which make sense now that I know there were apparently a couple of short films the director did before this movie that render it prologue to their antics. And hey whaddya know here is one. I wouldn't recommend watching this if you until you've seen the film itself though. And it's worth seeking out!
