Quote of the Day

.
Via Empire:

"Just as excitingly, [producer of the original film Don] Hahn is involved in the long-awaited sequel to Who Framed Roger Rabbit. And while it’s all gone quiet in terms of news on Roger 2 — the last we heard was back in November, when it was announced the original’s writers were working on the script — the producer confirms, albeit coyly, that it is still very much happening. “Yeah, I couldn’t possibly comment. I deny completely, but yeah… if you’re a fan, pretty soon you’re going to be very, very, very happy.”

I am a fan, Don, and the only news that would make me three very's happy would be Robert Zemeckis in the director's chair and Bob Hoskins back as Eddie Valiant, so let's hope that's where you're going with this.

To be clear, the absence of either of those wouldn't kill my possible enthusiasm for a sequel automatically (like say them turning Roger into motion capture or CG or some such nonsense would). It's just that the dude used three very's and it's gonna take some spectacular effort to get me up to three very's. That's all. One or two very's would be much simpler; he's set the bar high here.

Oh but Kathleen Turner is non-negotiable.
