Call Me, Bryan Fuller

The writers at AfterElton apparently didn't get the memo that Bryan Fuller, the man behind Pushing Daisies and Wonderfalls, is my pretend husband. In this article/interview with Bryan they gush over how adorable and funny and perfect he is, and if they aren't careful I'm going to have to get into a finger-snap rumble with them. Hands off! He belongs to me!

Anyway, Bryan Fuller is indeed adorable and funny and perfect, and he gives the pretend-husband-thieves at AE a scoop on a character on Pushing Daisies that's gonna be revealed as homo when the show returns in the Fall (I guess this could be considered sorta spoilery, by the way):

"“It’s the coroner,” Fuller told AfterElton.com, referring to the character played by Sy Richardson. “We were going to slowly expand his character and kind of reveal that he has a little crush on Emerson,” the private investigator and business partner to the show’s lead, played by Lee Pace.

“I didn’t want to just do another, like, pretty gay person,” said Fuller. “I thought it would be interesting to have an older character be gay.”

Fuller said he puts up a mental “orange cone” when it comes to gay and lesbian characters that have already been explored."

(thanks to Joe for the heads-up)
