Well the studio behind Spike Jonze's Where the Wild Things Are did the smart thing, seeing that crappy-resolution camera-phone-taken image making the rounds online yesterday, and released the image for real, thank goodness:

"Thanks for mentioning Stockard Channing in Six Degrees. One of my favorite performances ever, and it seems like it's been mostly forgotten. "
"THANK YOU for pointing out Stockard Channing in Six Degrees. Severely underrated movie and performance. She was robbed of that Oscar. "--- Anon #1 and Anon #2 agree with my pick of Miss Channing's unbeatable Ouisa Kittredge as one of the shoulda-won's at the Oscars in my list of my ten favorite Oscar-losing Best Actresses. She is a collage of unaccounted for brush strokes - she is all random.

Spike Jonze + Classic Children's book = Mindf@#ked kids. I don't know if that's necessarily a good thing, but I'm waiting eagerly.
That's a recipe for GENIUS, JD! I have no doubt in my mind at all that this is gonna be completely awesome. It's a perfect combination. Kids need a good mind-fucking here and there.
