No! Quote of the Day

From an interview with Edward James Olmos here, via AICN:

"We’re heading into the final season... This is the final season as we speak. All of us are very saddened by that, but we always knew there was going to be a conclusion and we would find Earth, so we will be finding Earth this season."

I thought there were supposed to be two more seasons? Did I imagine that? Maybe Olmos misspoke? Or took some of Roslin's crazy weed?

That sucks.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was just the one more season. This is SCIFI, the same channel that renewed Farscape for two seasons, then cancelled it before they filmed either one.

Well, like with Lost, I'd rather BSG end on a high note than go on too long, so if they've found the end of their story and are gonna give us a kick-ass final season I'll be okay to deal.

I never watched Farscape so I can't share in your pain there, but I remember hearing about their mishandling of the show.

BSG is no interstellar costume drama, Farscape never had the production values to draw new viewers.
What's up with Caprica? Will some BSG characters move over?

I think Caprica's going to end up being just that movie SciFi will air this Fall. And I don't think we see much of the main characters from BSG in that; it'll mainly be characters from the other Battlestar, Pegasus, and what went on with them post-apocalypse.
