I Need...

... so many things. So very many.

But what I need right this second is a region-free DVD player. Because (via FilmIck) I see that it'd be possible, if I did indeed own a region-free DVD player, to pre-order and have within two weeks a DVD copy of Park Chan-wook's latest film, I'm A Cyborg, But That's OK, which as of now there's no news on when/if it's being released here in the States.

Curse the heavens! Maybe I'll just buy it anyway and watch it on my computer. That'd work!

What brand of DVD player do you have? There are codes for pretty much every brand. Except Sony I believe. And some... Panasonics? I'm not sure on that one. But pretty much every other brand has a code.

Both my dvd players are the same, both are Panasonics. I don't understand what you mean by codes - there's something you can enter to bypass the region on some players I'm guessing? I just need to invest in a new dvd player, both of mine are like 5 years old. Though they still work fine. But the region thing is frustrating. Though, if there is a way to get around that... that'd be swell.

Hey, send me an email with the type of DVD player(s) you have.

I guess Americans don't really get the benefits of multi-region DVD players considering they get most things, but pretty much everyone else on the planet just enters a code and it works. But Panasonic might not work.

Still, send me the name of your player. Like, it'll be on the box. It'll be something like LG DV9823M, just panasonic. Understand? Ugh, just email me. I'm so bad with instructions.
