The Mist Is (Still) Coming

.
Continuing in my tradition of offering every teensy morsel of info on Frank Darabont's filmic adaptation of Stephen King's short story "The Mist", this comes from Cinematical:

"... now, according to Fangoria.com, the film now has a production date, and teams have been chosen to handle both the practical and digital effects necessary to bring this classic King creature feature to life. On February 20 director Frank Darabont will be going to work behind the camera, with star Thomas Jane going to work in front of it. Jane will play David Drayton, a resident of a small town engulfed by an unnatural mist which conceals all manner of dangerous monsters. The film is tentatively slated for a November 21 release."

Mmm Thomas Jane... plus tentacled monsters... heaven!

Not even to mention that, according to Fangoria, the wonderful FX team behind Pan's Labyrinth is doing the FX work for The Mist. Oh joy. This movie is coming together as well as chocolate and bacon bits.

That's, um, a good thing, see? Mmm chocolate bacon bits.
