Four days ago as we wished him a happy birthday we took a moment to lament the trouble we assumed that Cabin in the Woods writer-director Drew Goddard was having making that Spider-Man spin-off Sinister Six after Sony tossed everything into the air with their Marvel deal. Drew deserved better, we said! Clearly we deserve ten percent of at least whatever his agent is getting then with the news today that Drew's just actually gonna go ahead and make the whole damn new Spider-Man movie himself, thank you very much. We, and we alone, sealed this deal. Since the world is listening then, a couple of notes:
