Quote of the Day

"I'm glad people talk about films, but how many people talk about the ideas in the films? Or what did the film mean as opposed to, 'Oh the lighting was brilliant' or 'Did you see that camera move in that one shot.' That shouldn't be what the audience is talking about, you should be arguing about, 'What does it mean?'

--- That's director Terry Gilliam talking to a Romanian television show via The Playlist, who transcribes some of his best quotes from the program. I haven't watched it yet myself, but here's the link to the whole show. There's some great bits about Spielberg and Kubrick in there. Sounds like it's must watch.
