I can barely imagine what awesomeness he'd come up with from that idea. And hey if it somehow involves snatching at the body of a nubile young Antonio Banderas, all the awesomer!

Hmm. That would be the fifth version [1956, 1978, 1993, 2007] -- just counting the english language ones.
oh well, better than zombies, I guess ...
Well of course, I'm quite familiar with all the other versions, but something tells me that Pedro's vision will end up being a unique take. And it's a story that's usually morphed well to different times. (I have to say "usually" now that the Nicole Kidman version went and sucked.)
