"Thanks for mentioning Stockard Channing in Six Degrees. One of my favorite performances ever, and it seems like it's been mostly forgotten. "
"THANK YOU for pointing out Stockard Channing in Six Degrees. Severely underrated movie and performance. She was robbed of that Oscar. "--- Anon #1 and Anon #2 agree with my pick of Miss Channing's unbeatable Ouisa Kittredge as one of the shoulda-won's at the Oscars in my list of my ten favorite Oscar-losing Best Actresses. She is a collage of unaccounted for brush strokes - she is all random.

I don't really think I have the right answer but...Deep Red?
Nope not Deep Red
This is the longest long shot ever, but Silver Bullet?
Nope not Silver Bullet
Tenebrae or Tenebre or Ténèbres in French. That gushing stump scarred me for life when I saw a still of it as a young teen.
Which is as it should be, mangrove! Good work, it's Tenebre. (Also, Gushing Stump = awesome band name.)
WoopWoop!
I'm just happy nobody dumped on the Maestro for his recent lapses in taste or film-making abilities.
Low-brow operatic horror for ever, I say.
