You Won't Like Kristin Scott Thomas When She's Angry

.
I've always thought that - she radiates intimidation - so it's nice to see that apparently Drive director Nicolas Winding Refn does too. Slash has the details on his next movie called Only God Forgives, and what I find interesting is this: they have two synopses for the film, one a little bit dated and one brand new one, and in the brand new one KST's role, described as "a merciless and terrifying mafia godmother," sounds much more prominent than it did in the original synopsis, which sounded much more Ryan Gosling centric. Not that I mind Ryan Gosling centric, but the thought of Refn making a revenge picture at least partially focused on KST losing her shit is just too good to pass up, wouldn't you say? And without that aspect it was sounding awfully similar to Drive, on the surface. Slash also gets into whether Noted Homosexual Luke Evans is still attached to the project, as Gosling's brother, or if he scampered off permanently in his lightest loafers for The Hobbit.

In my head there's a movie where KST was the one who murdered her husband in Gosford Park. She does give off an intimidating vibe, but I suspect that it is why I love her so.
