Source Code in 200 Words or Less, Plus Stuff

.
Source Code is an intelligent, wholly involving and well-acted movie that I am fairly convinced I won't remember a wink of in a couple of months. It's the sort of movie where, if somebody asks you if they should run out and see it you stop, think for a sec, and tell them, "Hmm. I don't know if I'd run. But walk. Definitely walk. Don't pay too much for a babysitter or anything. But when the moment presents itself and you want to lose yourself for a couple of hours in a completely engaging and non-insulting manner, then by all means have at it." Some will argue that it's a step down from Moon but I felt pretty much the same way about Moon, a film whose praise I think swung a little beyond its own small means.

But I don't want to come off as dismissive in the case of either film - Jake's great and Duncan Jones is a gifted filmmaker and we're blessed to be getting these sorts of brainy, emotionally rich science-fiction films springing up like shoots of green in the wasteland of loud CG monstrosities. So go, walk to see this movie! Walk with nominal haste!

So here's the "plus stuff" referred to in this post's title: Duncan Jones was at the screening I saw last evening and did a Q&A after the film. I go to Q&As all the time, and they're almost always awful. Awful questions and endless awkwardness. But this one was fine! Very fine. He straight-off addressed a bunch of questions the film leaves you with, and came off as enthusiastic and genuine. And I recorded the entire Q&A, and here it is! Now be forewarned you probably will want to see the movie before watching this because there are SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS everywhere. The film does have some twists and turns, and they are discussed. The film's out on April 1st.

Are we to assume then that Jake looks amazing as usual but does not remove any clothing?

He does remain fully clothed he entire time, but his clothes fit him really well. And he rolls around in a military jumpsuit a couple of times, which is worth the admission.
