I've been meaning to give a little love to Tyrone Power here at MNPP for ages so you can thank Nathaniel at The Film Experience for finally giving my butt the boot it needed. Nat wrote up a lovely little piece on Tyrone in 1942's swashbuckler The Black Swan which inspired me to finally send some gratuity Tyrone's way. (It helped that Nat stuffed his post with plenty of gratuitousness from that film, bless him.) It's weird that his Wiki page makes no mention of Tyrone's supposed bisexuality (although mentioning his affair with Judy Garland could be considered slang for that, I suppose). You can read on his rumored affairs with men - including Cesar Romero, who's pictured with Ty in the last picture of this post - over at this link.

I don't know about his Wiki page but his wikipedia page has an entire section on it, and also his affairs with Lana Turner, Anita Ekberg, Mai Zetterling, et al., he loved slutty blondes.
so... looking at the pics you selected i suddenly want Billy Campbell to star in a movie about the last years of Ty's life.
