Some sources say Krasinski's got it - apparently he's director Joe Johnston's pick - while some say no, it's the other four on the list. But what's it matter what they say, cuz what we say goes... right? So let us pick the winner! First though, here's the four non-Krasinski's up for it (you can read more about each of them at DH) ...
Wilson Bethel - The least known fellow on the list. He was in that Generation Kill series on HBO, which appears to be the next Band of Brothers-ish casting pool for young actors. He's on The Young and the Restless.
Chris Evans - He's a new name on the list but not a surprising one, considering how well he already filled out Johnny Storm's spandex. Mmm Chris Evans in spandex.
Garrett Hedlund - He's in the Tron sequel. I've loved on his physical attributes several times before. Pretty.
Mike Vogel - Mike's my pick, y'all. Even with him being forced to utter that insipid "moodle" line in the trailers for that awful-looking movie he's in right now. When given the chance, like he was right at this link, the dude is hysterical, and charming, and just stuffed to the gills with sex. Oh I love him so.
But it's up to y'all! Who do you pick for Captain America?

Wow, Vogel really does have the look for it. Jason, I am going to go ahead and recommend that you read Ed Brubaker's marvelous Captain America run--one of the best superhero comics of the last decade. I can see Vogel as that character with that in mind.

Is somebody saying he'd be up for the role? I was going by the people that are rumored to be up for the role; I hadn't heard anything about Routh. Cuz I can always stare at Brandon in something snug.
I didn't think you were above starting rumors on his behalf.

My votes for Vogel! I'm still bitter that he didn't get the part of Angel in X3. Then again, that movie was a total pile, so maybe it's best he wasn't involved.
