"Thanks for mentioning Stockard Channing in Six Degrees. One of my favorite performances ever, and it seems like it's been mostly forgotten. "
"THANK YOU for pointing out Stockard Channing in Six Degrees. Severely underrated movie and performance. She was robbed of that Oscar. "--- Anon #1 and Anon #2 agree with my pick of Miss Channing's unbeatable Ouisa Kittredge as one of the shoulda-won's at the Oscars in my list of my ten favorite Oscar-losing Best Actresses. She is a collage of unaccounted for brush strokes - she is all random.

It's Kate, seriously I think it will be on of the crash victims
This site, where I got the screen-cap from, makes a pretty good case for it being Anubis, the Egyptian God.
And the statute appears to be holding in its hand the ankha symbol like the one on the dead husband's necklace.
Also, did I miss something, or was this our first glimpse of the statue? Neither hubby nor I recalled it being there in episode before last, yet here it was in the "previously on Lost" portion of the show...did we just miss it before?
oh, guess I'm not nearly as clever as I'd thought--your link seems to have made the ankh connection already!
Hey, if you made the connection on your own, shaun, you're miles ahead of me.
And previously they had shown the statue's four-toed foot; the rest of the statue was gone. This was in the present day, so obviously whhat've time period they were at when the entire statue was standing was in the past, presumably far.
I can't remember which season it was that the foot showed up in, maybe the second.
I thought it was a pretty weak episode, unfortunately... even for an overall weak season.
But the statue was intriguing.
