Lovelace Lost

.
Awww. Even though it's not wholly shocking, this news makes me a little bit sad on my insides. Via Moviehole:

"Moviehole's Guy Davis caught up with the gorgeous Anna Faris today - to talk about the amusing "House Bunny" - and discovered she's pulled out of producer Brian Grazer's recently announced Linda Lovelace biopic.

Faris says she's going to "stick to comedies" - like her latest venture, "The House Bunny" - for the meantime, noting that the Lovelace role would be a bit too heavy at this stage in her career.

The Lovelace-biopic, titled "Inferno", will be directed by Matthew Wilder - who'll now be on the lookout for a new lead."

I suppose she's in the middle of mapping out where she's going with her career and The House Bunny, bless its silly little pink heart, has been pretty successful so she's wanting to stick with what's working for the time being... but I do think she has it in her to do something new down the road, and I hope she does. Even Adam Sandler made his Punch-Drunk Love, Anna!
