I Am Some Link

--- Oh Just STFU - This probably deserves a post of its own, but fuck them, they don't get that much of my time. Via SciFiWire comes this quote from Platinum Dunes producer Brad Fuller addressing the criticism he's received regarding his plans to remake Rosemary's Baby:

"... if we don't do Rosemary's Baby, somebody else [will]. They're not going to pass on it. And, like I said, being horror fans like we are, we would want to take the opportunity and take a shot at it, rather than read about someone else doing it. So all the s--t we get for doing these things--it really just comes out of being huge fans and wanting to take a shot, you know?"

I don't think he knows what the word "fan" really means. Asshole. He goes on to explain how they don't even know what they're doing with it yet - they have no script and no set ideas - so obviously they've got a real vision and real bonafide reasons for remaking the film other than exploiting the title. Asshole.

--- In happier news, Paul Williams, the man who wrote the greatest song of all time - a little ditty called "The Rainbow Connection" - is hopefully gonna write the music for Jason Segel's Muppet movie. Yay!

--- Any list that utilizes both Carrie White and Regina George has got a lot going for it - Stale Popcorn lists their Top 10 Queens.

--- Moon Me - That "Moon colonization" movie that was going to unite director Doug Liman and hunk-puppy Jake Gyllenhaal, isn't dead, but is being rewritten. Hopefully to include an opening credits sequence exactly like this, only with Jake in Jane Fonda's place:

. . .
