Go go go Barbarella! Perhaps she can find some way to attach a machine-gun to her leg? It being Barbarella, a machine-gun would likely be called a Pleasure Phallus of Violence or something similar.

--- Giallo means Yellow - Adrien Brody is set to star in Dario Argento's next flick, another Giallo, titled Giallo. Which will have a killer named Yellow. Meta much?--- Speaking of Argento, the trailer for Mother of Tears - the third of a thematically-connected trilogy that started with the wonder of Suspiria - popped up a few days ago (over at STYD), as well as a list of theaters it'll be released in come June. Notice how it's "limited release" includes NYC and LA? Wow! Imagine that!
I'd say "Take notes, Weinsteins" here, but... well, the Weinsteins are actually the ones distributing Mother of Tears. Fits with their schizo nature, I suppose. Perhaps they'll decide the day before it's going to be released that they're just gonna put it out on DVD in ten years instead.

Emmanuelle Seigner is in Giallo, too! I'm excited.
Now, I kind of worship Jane Fonfda so it takes a lot for me to say this, but I think Rose is probably the best choice. If they are going to remake it, these 2 are probably the best choice.
rj - I'm a fan of Fonda and a huge fan of the original Barbarella, but this is a remake I'm totally psyched for. These two are the perfect choices. When there was word of a remake even before RR was attached and Rose had gotten together with him I'd thought Rose would be the perfect choice for the role.
As for Giallo... I obviously haven't seen Mother of tears yet so I can't speak for that one, but Argento hasn't made a good movie in a good long while, so I'm hesitant to get too excited about it. I want it to be great, I want it deeply. But he's burnt me a lot lately.
Damn, Adrien Brody! ...Damn.
